• My name is Kathy Bulboff and I am sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. My dad, Stan Wengert is searching for his sister Patricia Louise Schmacher. They were separated when my dad was 4-5 years old as their mom, Milderd (now deceased) gave them up to foster care. My dad was born in 1931 and will be 87 years old this November. • Dear Paul and Greg - Your Mom (Pat)and I worked together at Northwest Orient Airlines on Portage Avenue from 1965 to 1970. In those days one had to quit when pregnant, so I quit to have my first child. Your mom was a character - lots of laughs at times - but also a serious worker. She did all she could for you boys inspite of really being a single mom for a number of years. It was due to her reference that I eventually went to work for Air Canada when my own family was grown. So sorry for your loss. Your mom has been on my mind lately and I am sorry that I missed getting back in touch before she passed on. • I am so sorry to hear of your mom's death two years ago. I had not heard. Your mother and mine (Joanne Pearce) were good friends and neighbours (Balfour St.) so many years ago. My mom who died in 1997 always stayed in touch with your mom. When we moved to Gimli from Alberta in 1965 they were able to get together more often and were pleased to find out they had a common friend - Carl MacDonald, who worked at Air Canada with your mom from what I can recall. I am not sure if you will even see this but wanted to send my condolences. Life is so fleeting! Take care!
